Our Story
I’m Jeff Lueck, the hands-on builder behind Prescott Builders of AZ. I have spent most of my life in Prescott, and I began my construction career in 1981 as a cabinet-maker. Over the years, that work grew from custom woodworking and cabinetry into home building and remodeling, giving me a strong understanding of Prescott’s soils, architectural styles, building requirements, and what it takes to build something that lasts.
In 1998, I expanded into home building and remodeling when Harry Wellins and I began working together under Wellins Construction. In 2008, the name changed to Prescott Builders of AZ LLC. Today, I carry on the qualities and traditions that Harry and I practiced for almost two decades. Harry retired in 2014, but the standard we built our work around still guides the company today.
I believe clients deserve direct communication, honest guidance, and a builder who stays involved from the early planning stages through final completion. That kind of oversight helps protect quality, keep the work organized, and make the process more straightforward.
Prescott Builders of AZ is more than a construction company to me. It is a family business built on pride, hard work, and trust. My son, Carl Lueck, has grown up around this work and earned his place in the business over time. Working side by side with him has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Today, we lead the company with the same values it was built on: do the work right, stay involved, and treat every project with the respect it deserves.
